Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to quotes, orders, machining services, repair work, rework, and related services provided by BetaManufacturing LLC. By requesting a quote, submitting files, or placing an order, you agree to these terms unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Services
BetaManufacturing LLC provides CNC milling, CNC turning / lathe work, prototype machining, short-run production, repair and replacement parts, thread repair, rework, surface grinding by review, sandblasting / surface prep by review, and related manufacturing services. All work is subject to review and written acceptance.
Quotes and Orders
Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including drawings, models, material requirements, tolerances, finishes, quantity, inspection requirements, and due dates. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Orders are not final until confirmed in writing by BetaManufacturing LLC.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete drawings, models, specifications, materials, finishes, quantities, revision levels, inspection requirements, and intended-use information. BetaManufacturing LLC is not responsible for issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or incorrect customer-provided information.
Design, Tolerances, and Manufacturability
Final tolerance, finish, delivery time, and pricing depend on part design, material, workholding, tooling, quantity, and inspection requirements. If a part requires clarification, design review, material change, tolerance review, or manufacturability review, BetaManufacturing LLC may request additional information before accepting or continuing the job.
Customer-Supplied Materials
If the customer supplies material, the customer is responsible for confirming the material type, condition, certification, and suitability for the intended job. BetaManufacturing LLC is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect, defective, mislabeled, damaged, or unsuitable customer-supplied material.
Inspection and Documentation
Inspection requirements, material certifications, quality documentation, and any special reporting requirements must be stated before quoting. Additional inspection, documentation, or certification requirements may affect pricing and delivery time.
Restricted Data
Do not send ITAR/EAR-controlled, export-controlled, classified, restricted, military, defense, or otherwise regulated files unless BetaManufacturing LLC has confirmed in writing that the job can be accepted. Customers are responsible for identifying any restricted or regulated technical data before sending files.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be stated on the quote, invoice, or written agreement. Work may require deposit, partial payment, or full payment before release, depending on the job. Late payments may delay delivery or future work.
Delivery, Pickup, and Shipping
Delivery dates are estimates unless specifically confirmed in writing. Local pickup or delivery may be available by arrangement. If parts are shipped, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs, carrier delays, damage claims, and insurance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes, Cancellations, and Rework
Changes requested after a quote or order is accepted may affect price, delivery time, and feasibility. Cancelled jobs may be billed for completed work, purchased materials, tooling, programming, setup, or other costs already incurred. Rework requests will be reviewed based on the agreed drawing, specification, and order requirements.
Use of Finished Parts
Customers are responsible for determining whether finished parts are suitable for their intended use, assembly, environment, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements. BetaManufacturing LLC does not certify parts for aerospace, medical, automotive safety-critical, defense, or regulated use unless specifically agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BetaManufacturing LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-loss damages. Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
